Overview

Broncolor Verso A2 1200 watt second power pack is a ultimate versatile power pack in the studio and on location. 

Broncolor Verso A2 RFS power pack is designed as studio power pack, it has an optional dock-on rechargeable battery that enable the photographer to work where AC power is unavailable.

It has 3 lamp head outlets and any broncolor lamp made from 1972 on can be used with Verso A2 RFS.

Verso A2 RFS has customarily built in Radio Frequency System which allow the power pack to be triggered using radio signals.

• Thin partition walls no longer block the signal
• Triggering is effortless even in dark or very large studios
• IR radiation, present in the vicinity can no longer cause unintentional triggering

Using the very compact camera transmitter (RFS transmitter), the power output of Verso A2 RFS can be controlled in whole f-stops or 1/10 f-stop increments.

Power distribution
The flash energy can be distributed asymmetrically (individual) between 2 channels and among a maximum of 3 lamp outlet connections.

Short recycle times
The Verso A2 RFS power pack is the flash unit with fastest charging time in 0.3 - 1.5 seconds with battery operated and 0.2 - 0.8 second with AC operated.

Short flash duration
The shortness of the flash duration is equally impressive, even at full power (1200J) the flash discharge lasts no longer than 1/500s (t.05).

Wide control range
Six of the seven f-stops of the control range constitute the effectively usable asymmetry ( 600 to 9.5 J ). The energy per channel can be adjusted to within 1/10 of an f-stop.

Constant colour temperature
Automatic stabilization of colour temperature over 4 f-stops within +/- 100 K. It also provides exactly the same quality and quantity of light every time , even with the rapid flash sequence of fashion shoot.

Modelling light
Verso A2 RFS supplies a maximum of 3 x 650 w (Halogen 230 V). With the Power Dock the user receives a bright modeling light of a total of 650W. The modelling light with 6 different proportionality levels, adjustable to all broncolor power packs and moonlights.

Battery capacity (power dock)
The power provides power for about 450 flashes with normal charging and at full flash output.

Multi Voltage
Verso A2 RFS can be operated on any mains voltage from 100 to 2300 V Memory Function
The entered data are retained should the unit be switched off or in case of power cut

Robust design
Robust aluminum housing and side walls are equipped with hard rubber components.  Front panel with illuminated silicone keyboard resistant to dust and scratches, LED as well as 2 LCD-displays.
